So a lot has happened over the last couple months since my last anemic update. Biggest news is that my wife gave birth to our lovely son Jacob, and we couldn’t be more excited. He’s keeping us up a lot and keeping us busy, but he’s super-fun and I’m looking forward to spending the rest of my life turning him into as big a geek as I am.
On the publishing front, I’ve pulled together all my business information and have my publishing DBA and bank account and so forth all set up, and I’ve been writing and editing and revising like crazy. My goal to hit 1 million new words is looking to be out of reach, but I should break through 600,000 by the end of the year. I call that a successful failure.
Of more immediate import is that the first episode of my new weird western series is nearly ready to launch. I have a great editor, a great cover designer, and a great artist all working hard to pull together some amazing stuff, and I am looking forward to sharing that very soon now. Expect the first episode’s ebook to be available for sale later this month, with episode 2 simultaneously available for pre-order. Print versions will follow soon thereafter, and I’m looking at adding audiobooks some time in 2016.
So things are moving forward and things are looking good! Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoy the ride as I get this self-publishing thing rolling forward (finally!).
